Personal Exposure Monitoring

Cal/OSHA Title 8 Section 5155 requires that air monitoring be performed if there is a possibility that exposure to airborne contaminants may exceed the regulatory levels listed in Table AC-1 of the regulation. Some chemicals require establishing a baseline exposure by performing initial air monitoring. There are many chemicals in a workplace; how do you prioritize which monitoring should be performed?
