Conducting a Job Hazard Analysis

A job hazard analysis (JHA), also called a job safety analysis (JSA), is a technique to identify the dangers of specific tasks in order to reduce the risk of injury to workers. Cal/OSHA Title 8 Section 3203 requires that facilities have a procedure for identifying and evaluating workplace hazards with scheduled periodic inspections to identify unsafe conditions and work practices. Once hazards are recognized, they can be reduced or eliminated before anyone gets hurt. This webinar will discuss the JHA process, who should be conducting the analysis, and what the next steps are when the JHA is complete.
