Yorke Engineering, LLC (Yorke) specializes in greenhouse gas (GHG) verification, offering expert support for organizations needing independent assessment of their GHG emissions data to meet State and federal regulatory requirements. We provide verification services for facilities in California, Washington, and Oregon, ensuring compliance with the California Air Resources Board (CARB), Washington State Department of Ecology (Department of Ecology), and Oregon Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ). With over 300 GHG verifications completed, Yorke’s team brings decades of expertise in confirming the accuracy and integrity of GHG reports.

Our team includes 10 CARB-accredited, 5 Department of Ecology-certified, and 4 Oregon DEQ-approved GHG lead verifiers, all of whom are skilled at navigating the complexities of the verification process. As a CARB-accredited, Washington State Department of Ecology-certified, and Oregon DEQ-approved GHG verification body, Yorke is trusted to conduct thorough, impartial verification services that comply with regulatory standards.

Facilities in California or Washington that are subject to GHG Verification requirements are required to complete the GHG verification process and statements by August 10 for GHG emissions occurring in the previous calendar year. Facilities in Oregon that are subject to GHG Verification requirements are required to complete the GHG verification process and statements by August 31 for GHG emissions occurring in the previous calendar year, except for electricity suppliers.
